Beginner Division 9am-noon: 2.5 - 3.0 level or equivalent. Players should know how to serve and keep score. They come to the net on occasion but do not have reliable 3rd shot strategies. They may not be comfortable volleying nor have a high-level understanding of court positioning. If you're around the bottom 50% of rec play, you're good for this level.
Advanced Division noon-3pm 3.5 - 4.0 level or equivalent. Players at this level get to the net during almost every point. They understand and can apply 3rd shot strategies, volleys and court positioning. If you're around the top 50% of rec play, this level is for you.
